Öpfinger Osterlauf
The Öpfinger Osterlauf is a long-standing traditional race first held in 1978 and has grown from a small local event into a competition attracting around 1,000 participants annually. For the small community of Öpfingen, the race held on Holy Saturday is a major highlight of the year. Spectators cheer runners at the stadium, winners are celebrated in a communal setting, and even young children take part in a Bambini race featuring a festive atmosphere. The event combines sporting ambition with strong local tradition and community spirit.
